Shale Safety

The 2017 Shale Safety Institute is coming up on October 7th, 2017 at Belmont College. There are tons of good fire and EMS continuing education classes and it's all free. Here is an awesome opportunity to get some quality continuing education for absolutely free. There will be also be door prizes and they will feed you lunch.

This year I will be doing a two classes. Both of my classes will be off site at Bill's Towing. The morning session I will be doing a class called Difficult Access Rescue and in the afternoon I will be doing a class called Heavy Lifting class. In  the Difficult Access Rescue class I will be hanging firefighters from a rope system and having them try to perform a vehicle extrication. This is ot your evry day rescue run and it will be challenging but exciting.

The second class is titled Heavy Lifting. This class will have some kind of heavy object on top of a car. The firefighters will have to figure out how to lift that object off of the car to be able to do some sort of rescue. This class also will show the importance of having a good working relationship with the towing company. We will show the firefighters the capabilities of the towing industry and how the tow industry can help with the rescue.

I am excited to be doing these classes. I learn from every class that I do and love being able to provide that education to others. If you are curious as to how to sign up follow the link below.
